Cover Reveal: Blood of the Prophet (The Fourth Element #2) by Kat Ross The Blood Prophet Cover+Synopsis Blood of the Prophet by Kat Ross (The Fourth Element #2) Publication Date: September 12th 2016 Genres: Fantasy, Young Adult Synopsis - Visionary. Alchemist. Savior. Saint. The Prophet Zarathustra has been called many things. Now he spends his time drawing pictures of weird-looking goats. That's what happens when you've been stuck in a prison cell for two hundred years. But the man who might be mad, and is definitely supposed to be dead, has suddenly become very valuable again... It's only been a few weeks since Nazafareen escaped the King's dungeons with her daeva, Darius. She hoped never to set foot in the empire again, but the search for the Prophet has lead them to the ancient city of Karnopolis. They have to find him before Alexander of Macydon burns Persepolae, and Darius's mother with it. But they're not the only ones looking. The necromancer Balthazar has his own plans for the Prophet, and so does the sinister spymaster of the Numerators. As Nazafareen is drawn in to a dangerous game of cat and mouse, her newfound powers take a decidedly dark turn. Only the Prophet understands the secret of her gift, but the price of that knowledge may turn out to be more than Nazafareen is willing to pay... Author Bio: Kat Ross worked as a journalist at the United Nations for ten years before happily falling back into what she likes best: making stuff up. She lives in Westchester with her kid and a few sleepy cats. Kat is also the author of the dystopian thriller Some Fine Day (Skyscape, 2014), about a world where the sea levels have risen sixty meters. She loves magic, monsters and doomsday scenarios. Preferably with mutants. Author Q&A With Joel Brown! 1) What inspired you to write Zoom Boom? (From @admirerofbooks) JB: My oldest Grand-daughter inspired me to write these books shortly after her birth in 2005. All of my books in the Zoom Boom series were authored over 10 years ago. I desired that by creating the stories of the characters of Zoom Boom and his friends, that they would represent some of my contributions to her upbringing. These books are to serve as teaching tools and entertainment for her and others, in her age group. 2) What genre of book is your favourite to read and also to write? JB: I mostly like to read 'self-help' books and books that inspire us to become better human beings. Mystery/suspense novels would mostly be my second choice because of the intrigue and not knowing what is going to happen until you get further and deeper into the book(s). To answer your second question, I would be considered a 'new' author/writer and thus far, Children's Books are my favourite to write. I am a happy person that enjoys life and I believe that among all of the people of the world, children are the most happiest because of their carefree and innocent existence. I don't ever remember anyone telling a child that they should not be happy. Therefore, if I can make some child happy and teach them at the same time, my goals have been accomplished. 3) What authors do you look up to as an inspiration? (From @admirerofbooks on Instagram) JB: I am most inspired by GOD. Other authors would be: Ernest Hemingway, Henry David Thoreau (Poems), Helen Steiner Rice (Poems, Letters, Greeting Cards), and Dale Carnegie. 4) If you could live in any world from any book, where would you live and why? JB: I really can't specify a specific world, but I think I would like to live with no 'time' restrictions as in the book by H.G. Wells, 'The Time Machine.' That way, I could visit as many places and not be limited to where I could go and/or how long I would have to stay there. 5) What are 5 book recommendations that everyone needs to read in their lifetime? (From @admirerofbooks on Instagram) JB: #1: The Bible; #2 How To Win Friends and Influence People (Dale Carnegie); #3 The Millionaire Next Door (Thomas J. Stanley & William D. Danko); #4 The Old Man and the Sea (Ernest Hemingway); #5 The Colour Purple (Alice Walker). 6) What is your favourite book and why? JB: The Bible is my most favourite books because of the recorded history, its teaching principles, relevant truths to 'my' life and that it answers (to me) questions that no one else seems to have answers for. I had to grow to the point of understanding how much the Bible meant to me, and that is not to say in any way that I am perfect. I AM NOT, and never will be! Neither do I spout parables/verses and think that I should tell others as to how they ought to live their lives. I surely would not want anyone to do that to me. I live my life with the respect and acceptance of everyone regardless of how they may feel about me, and that in mind as I wrote these books. 7) If you could swap lives with any fictional character, who would you pick and why? JB: I would become Zoom Boom, of course! I believe that I should be the character that I imagine by being helpful, honest, caring, trustworthy, humble, and dependable. I just can't run 'fast' like Zoom Boom, but I surely wish I could! 8) If you could have any superpower for a day, what would you have any why? JB: I wish that I could have the superpower of 'healing!' I chose 'healing' because in one day, I could visit as many local hospitals, mental health, Veteran's Administration facilities and Cancer Treatment Centres in the time span of 24 hours that I could and cure everyone that I touched or spoke to/about. 'Healing' brings internal, external and eternal joy! 9) Any advice for writers out there? (From @admirerofbooks on Instagram) JB: The only advice I could give for all writers out there would be, that everyone should write from your heart and from what you feel! Lose yourself in the experience and 'paint pictures with your words!' It's the year 1802 in Avignon, France... Noah Capet has spent most of his young life living simple and unvaried days in the hushed countryside of southern France. Quiet, reserved, and diffident, his preference for existing is to do so in solitude, keeping to himself both in town and on his family's farm - a predilection that's altogether disrupted when a newcomer to town by the name of Jeremie Perreault begins an unremitting quest to befriend him. Jeremie is everything Noah is not. Charismatic and gregarious, he leaves a trail of charmed admirers in his wake wherever he goes. Expressive and idealistic, he talks without end about his deep love for old books and his spirited dream to one day travel the world on a literary pilgrimage. Over the course of a single summer, the two form an unlikely friendship, but just as quickly as it develops, it soon entirely dissolves as they're forced to face the truth of what has unexpectedly emerged between them. Lavender In Bloom is a tender and tragic coming-of-age story about first love and self-discovery, and a poignant reminder that time is fleeting and always takes with it the choices we're too afraid to make. Lily Velez has been writing stories since she was six years old. Not much has changed since then. She still prefers the written word and her overactive imagination over the 'real world' (though to be fair, her stories no longer feature talking dinosaurs). A graduate of Rollins College and a Florida native, when she's not reading or writing, she spends most of her days wrangling up her pit bulls Noah and Luna, planning exciting travel adventures, and nursing her addiction to cheese. All this when she isn't participating in the extreme sport known as napping. You can learn more about Lily and her book at http://www.lilyvelezbooks.com/. LAVENDER IN BLOOM LINKS

Genre :- YA F/F Contemporary Romance Cover by :- KassiJean Synopsis - Kyle Blake likes plans. Nothing is going to stand in the way of that plan. Not even Stella Lewis. Stella Lewis also has a plan: Finish her senior year as cheer captain, go to college, finally let herself flirt with (and maybe even date) a girl for the first time and go from there. Fate has other plans for Kyle and Stella when they’re paired up in their AP English class and something between them ignites. It’s confusing and overwhelming and neither of them know what to do about it. One thing they do know is that their connection can’t be ignored. The timing just isn’t right. But is there ever a good time for falling in love? **COMING SOON** SERIES ANNOUNCEMENT FROM CHELSEA M. CAMERON
One family. Seven People. A whole lot of love and a whole lot of drama. Everyone in Hope Harbor Maine knows the Benson family: six sons, one daughter. They live by one rule: Family comes first. The Benson Brothers series will be seven books, all standalones that can be read individually, or in order (which will be announced soon). Author's Note:- I've been DYING to write a series all in one family. Seven Brides for Seven Brothers is my favourite musical of all time and I thought, wouldn't it be cool to write seven stories all from the same family? As an only child, one of my favourite things to explore is sibling relationships. I also saw a gap in stories about working-class people in the New Adult category, which was another reason I wanted to write this. It's also an ode to Coastal Maine, where I grew up and still live. I wanted to write books that were steeped in salt water and sweat. Books about people who work hard and love hard. I'm so excited about this series and I hope you will be too. Stay tuned for the announcement of the first book as well as the cover reveal.
